Ways to run it

Every way runs the same product. What differs is who runs it, where your data sits, and what it needs to work.

Offline self-hosted

Entirely on your own network, with no connection to the outside world at all — not to us, not to the internet. Right for an estate that can't reach outside, or shouldn't. Its licence arrives as a file you upload, and nothing about your network ever leaves it.

Connected self-hosted

On your own network, and the default way to run it. The only thing it ever sends out is a periodic check that keeps its licence current with your account — nothing about your network leaves it.

Managed

Still on your own network, and your data stays there — but we build, run and look after the install for you, over an outbound-only link that reports its health back to us. Nothing for you to install, upload or renew.

Hosted

Runs on our infrastructure instead of yours — the smallest option if you'd rather not run anything yourself. A small on-site collector (outbound only; nothing is opened for us to reach in) lets it see your own network too, if you want that; without it, it still works for anything reporting through the device agent.
